What is LinkedIn Pinpoint?

In 2024, LinkedIn added Pinpoint to its suite of daily mini-games, alongside Queens, Tango and Crossclimb. The idea: five clues, usually words or short phrases, all point to the same hidden category. They appear one at a time, from the most obscure to the most obvious, and the goal is to guess the category while reading as few clues as possible. LinkedIn publishes a fresh puzzle every day, the same one for every player.

Success came quickly: guessing the category in as few clues as possible became a small daily professional challenge, much like Queens or Tango before it. But the format stays deliberately spare: a single puzzle per day, the same for everyone, inside LinkedIn.

How to play Pinpoint on LinkedIn

On LinkedIn, the steps are simple: sign in to your account, open the games section, often reachable from the feed or the menu, and select Pinpoint. Read the first clue, type an answer if you feel ready, or reveal the next one if you would rather read more. Once the daily puzzle is solved, you can compare your score, then you wait until the next day for the following one.
