How does the daily Crossclimb challenge work?
Every day at midnight, Paris time, a new Crossclimb challenge is published: a single ladder, the same for every player. Five clues give you five words; you first identify them, then stack them in the right order so that only one letter changes between neighboring rungs, before guessing the two missing ends. You start at 1000 points, and every mistake costs a hundred. Complete the challenge to enter today's leaderboard, extend your streak and unlock badges.
The rules are those of Crossclimb: read each clue, find the word, and let the one-letter-per-rung constraint guide you to the ladder’s single valid order. The difficulty lies in the chaining: one misplaced word breaks the chain, and the two ends only reveal themselves once the core of the ladder is in place. What time does the new daily challenge come out?
Every day at midnight, Paris time. The ladder is identical for every player worldwide.
Can I replay previous daily challenges?
Yes: every past ladder stays playable for free in the archive. Archive games award no points and no ranking, only today’s challenge counts.
How do I keep my streak?
Complete the daily challenge every day: your streak grows by 1 for each completed day and resets to zero as soon as you miss one.
